Before long, that once uncomfortable rope started to feel like an extension of me. The bruises faded into badges of honor, each marking a step in my journey, a step closer to that feeling of liberation I so desperately craved. The slow build-up of strength and confidence, mirrored by my increasing fluidity in the air, was a sight to behold. It was the slow build of anticipation, of wonder, that kept me going.
My heart would race, pounding wildly with adrenalin every time I was about to embrace the aerial ring. I remember the smiles, the gasps, the applause from the audience during my performances. The thrill of the spotlight, the ecstasy of being the person in control, up there on the stage, where the world seemed small and every problem insignificant, was exhilaratingр
Nowadays when people ask me about my journey, I always find myself saying, "If you've got a hint of curiosity and a lot of passion, then trust me, youвll love this." The road wasn't easy, but the destination is worth it. It's empowering, beautiful, raw, and real - akin to writing your destiny with your body, painting the air with your movements, and dancing your heart out till the world fades away.
