What you wrote made a great deal of sense. But, what about this? what if you wrote a catchier post title? I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your website, however what if you added a post title to maybe get a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little plain. You ought to glance at Yahoo's front page and see how they write article headlines to grab people to click. You might add a related video or a related picture or two to get people excited about what you've written. Just my opinion, it would bring your website a little livelier.
