I think what you posted was very logical. However, think on this, suppose you typed a catchier title? I mean, I don't want to tell you how to run your website, however suppose you added a title to maybe grab folk's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little boring. You should glance at Yahoo's home page and see how they create article headlines to grab viewers to click. You might try adding a video or a related pic or two to grab people excited about everything've written. In my opinion, it might make your posts a little bit more interesting.
