The training sessions involve working with dogs of various temperament, intelligence and appearance to enhance strength, agility, confidence, aggressiveness and good overall health, while providing them with the opportunity to express themselves with new and different types of dog situations.
The purpose of the events is to teach the dog trainer about their individual personality and to encourage good and effective interaction between the dog trainer and the owner.
"A big goal at the end of the first year is to encourage trainers, owners and dog trainers to collaborate on training together, to improve the outcome of the training sessions, as well as on a professional level," explained Pavan Seshkumar, Chairman, Executive Director.
The trainers will also teach the trainers about the importance of training dogs with certain temperament levels. As well, they will also train dogs with a certain level of physical abilities to better serve their roles as care-takers and handlers.
During a course of one month, training sessions can be performed with any breed of dog, any size of dog, all of the above, all in the context of the trainer's own dog training experience, if necessary.
The event will also feature free training sessions for the dog owners and pet owners and members of the public at various venues, such as the city government's park wardens, public administration offices, schools, universities, government buildings, police departments, and others.
The event is not a formal training, but rather a way to build trust between trained dogs and owners.
"This unique event of the dog owners, with the dogs and the trainers together for training, will enhance understanding of the important role of a dog in the home," said Mr. Seshkumar.
